Damn Probst why are you going so soft in public, that's not what your posts in the blogs section of the forum say.

You really showed an amazing side to you when you tried to flip the vote on Penner in the last round before the swap
Jeff Probst wrote:I was most looking forward to Drew this seaosn, I think he was my winners pick. I had high hopes for him, but I think he got too caught up in being with Dan. That really hurt his game. Not the loyalty, but the fact that he didn't play WITH Dan so much as FOR Dan. I really think he was waiting for Dan to be voted out and then would break out on his own, but that's the risk with hiding behind a "shield." You are collateral damage in the event of an idol play or immunity win. So we never got to see Drew's full potential and that's on Drew. He came out of Nauru playing VERY strong and continued to do so in the swap. The merge he just got lazy and played the UTR game a little too much.
Caryn wrote:Some of my fellow hosts are probably gonna say that you got too caught up in playing with Dan, don't believe them. You were your own man in this game just as much as he was. You and Douchebag Dale pretty much had control over on Nauru, and when the swap hit and you joined up with Dan you guys both brought people together to make that alliance happen. I do believe there were times where you hid behind Dan and used him as a shield, and that probably wasn't the smartest move because it's what ultimately got you voted out in the end. But hey, at least you got idoled out in epic fashion.
However I do believe you were up Dan's ass in Ponderosa when it came to the "Vote for Hayden" bullshit lol
Kelly wrote:It was definitely interesting seeing the way you composed yourself in public and in PM's compared to your PM's with Dan and your confessionals. It definitely felt like you were ramping up to be the undercover two-faced villain of the season but you never really got out from underneath Dan's thumb to be of any serious impact this season. It's almost completely appropriate that you ended up being collateral to the storyline of his ultimate downfall.

Cass: let's vote out Penner!
everyone: umm, can you not?

Jeff Probst wrote:You came into this game after having a pretty rough and maybe unfair wrap as a winner last season. You showed massive potential and I took a risk on you here and I'm so glad I did. You elevated your game and became hated! As they say, if you're hated then you've reached distinction. I actually applaud your gameplay, I feel like you didn't go far enough. You shoulda just gone full Valhalla and continued to flip back and forth and cause as much shit as you could. Your biggest fault is not owning your personality. We saw you own it a lot more this season and you were much more memorable. I loved you here and you were definitely a compelling character.
Caryn wrote:Jesus fucking christ, even when you're given the opportunity to be an entertaining player on a silver platter, you STILL find a way to fuck it up. You could've been an entertaining flip flopping villain who was a thorn in everyone's side and you didn't give a shit what they thought, but you didn't own it. You didn't embrace it, you didn't absorb it, even when it became evidently clear that you were supposed to be a villain this season. You had the same bullshit mentality as last season which is exactly what I DIDN'T want you to have.
Kelly wrote:You occupy a very soft spot in my heart Val as you always come across as a very layered, emotional person in your confessionals. It was clear that you were affected by a lot of talk surrounding your win this season and you really wanted to prove yourself as being more than an allegedly undeserving winner. You succeeded, your time this season was pretty memorable and I think of all the Indonesia people you were positioned the best, it's ironic that your emotions took the best of you and you weren't able to look past what Richard did and had to take him out at the expense of everyone trusting you.
Dan wrote:Drew was a god. Equal to me at all times, definitely didn't play for me. We played together.
Heidi wrote:Cassandra never came to me with that plan which is weird because I totally treated her more than you, Penner.
Also, how did Hayden lose to Sugar?
