What a wild fucking ride this whole thing has been. Val left the game and I was feeling pretty down about whatever chances that Tammy and I had to succeed in this game. But the ups and downs have continued to push us along and here we are, 1/3 of the tribe of the final 6. It would have been us at the final 9, but Tammy and I were both immune. It would have been us at the final 8, but Tammy and I were both immune. Surely, at the final 7, the other 6 people on the Kiribati tribe would come together in order to eliminate 1/2 of the last pair of allies in the game. WRONG.
Nothing gets in my way and nobody comes between Tammy and Heidi. With the extra vote that I so masterfully found, Tammy and I convinced Ozzy to vote with us and force a tie. Penner could have made it easy by voting alongside us to take out Sierra, but he chose to be difficult. He could have switched his vote at the re-vote to avoid rocks, but he chose the harder road forward. I knew Tammy would do whatever she could to save me, even if it may have involved tanking her own game, but I was surprised and at the same time ecstatic that Ozzy was willing to go to rocks for me. I think he's realized that, ever since the survey put him as a threat to win the game, Tammy and I are the only people willing to go to the end with him. He knew that if one of us left last night, both Penner and Sierra were going to try and drag Sugar and Hayden to the end.
Luckily luck was on our side last night, but we might need it again tonight. As much as I'd like to take Penner out of the game out of spite... me, Ozzy, and Tammy are going to vote for Sugar tonight, again. We've told Penner that if he wants to join us, he's more than welcome to. Otherwise, he's going to be facing another tie vote with rocks in which he's going to be vulnerable, unless he wins immunity. Immunity is as important tonight as it ever was. I think there's a slim chance Ozzy will back down from the rocks plan if he's not immune, so Tammy and I are going to do whatever we can tonight to make sure he's immune, whether it's throwing him the challenge or handing him the immunity necklace at tribal council. If Penner votes for Sugar with us, she'll leave 4-2. If Penner forces the tie and Ozzy is immune (he should be - Tammy, him, and I are the best competitors in my humble opinion) then it will come down to rocks between Penner, Hayden, and whichever of me or Tammy that Ozzy didn't vote for. If Ozzy isn't immune, I don't know if Penner would try to move Hayden and Sugar's votes onto him, because he has expressed interest to me in voting Ozzy out this round.
This game has been a BLAST. I've had so much fun. My drive to win is bigger than ever just because of the giant momentum boost that last night was with Sierra leaving, but I've had a great time and I'll leave with my head held high if things don't work out tonight. I don't have much else to say, because things are pretty straight-forward tonight from my perspective, but hopefully I'll be around tomorrow night with another update.
