#6588 Random thoughts that I want to put somewhere.

Hayden is obviously likable as fuck. He's a good kid who found himself in good situations throughout the entire game. And I'll be the first to admit it's not a bad strategy. Don't rock the boat if you're going to be fine. But when you get to the end, what do you say? "People liked me and I went along for the ride." I don't know if I can vote for that. Just finding yourself in good situations.

Tammy, to me, was following along on the Heidi ride. She was the number 2 in the duo and never broke out on her own. I'd be interested in seeing her view of the game, especially is she's in the finals with Heidi. Because it seemed like Heidi was controlling things.

Heidi was always on the bottom but somehow controlled votes. She had me in her pocket giving her idols or going to rocks for her, so she obviously had good connections, but is that enough? She knew who had to go at what times too. That was always impressive to me.

Penner is the sleeper threat that nobody thought to take out. But he, like Hayden, was in good situations. And when things were turning to shit, he jumped over to the green grass. To me, he took Hayden's game and utilized it more.

I'm leaning Penner > Heidi > Hayden > Tammy but not set in stone. Questions should be interesting.

#6614 Regarding Heidi vs. Tammy, I've been torn all game. tbf Heidi has come real close to being voted out a number of times, while Tammy hasn't to my knowledge. Socially I'd give Heidi the edge for sure overall, but with me it was equal, both were pretty great and offset each other well... But, if there is a mark against Heidi I guess it would have to be that. Still, the first time we were pretty sure we weren't actually voting ppl out of the game itself (then the swap came which may have been a big break for her? I know she had a rough time on yellow and hated it), and then the second time at 8, she, you and Tammy to your credits were able to prepare well to use the extra vote to make sure the tie got forced. Hard to say how the whole situation would've played out if Tammy never found the extra vote, but it seems very likely that Heidi would've been out. But as far as voting for a winner, things like that do enter the equation for me, at least a little bit.

I have no doubt that Tammy had just as much say within that duo as Heidi did though, and she's been a lot safer on a round by round basis: she was the "shielded" one. But I don't think either game would've been nearly as successful without the other, and their undying loyalty to each other is a big part of why they're still here. Factoring in who would "best represent the season as the winner" and all that, it would kind of be a crime if they both made F3 and still lost lmao, but it is absolutely, 100% possible.

#6616 Heidi found the extra vote, not Tammy. But I agree with your points. Like I said, if they both make it, i want to see tammys view of this game.

#6617 Can't see a scenario in which Tammy wins, or Heidi for that matter. Only way either of 'em win is if it's a F2...and we know it's not.

We should just cut through the bullshit. Tammy is garbage. I'm sorry, but she is. I love her little "I'm sorry" posts she sends to whoever gets voted out tho

Penner & Hayden all the way.

#6622 Oh Heidi found it? They were both "sarcastically" taking credit for it at Tribal and I couldn't really tell which one was being genuine. Why'd she give it to Tammy, just in case she got booted?

^ LOL I could definitely see Tammy doing that.

Yea if Heidi had left, Tammy wouldve had it and forced a tie at 6. Or she says she would've. Who knows.

Much more bitter this morning about me leaving! Goddamnit.

Lol yeah in the moment I was almost amused at getting rocked and then a few minutes I'm like "fuck this". icon_razz I guess those are the breaks.

Honestly I would've loved to work with you guys at F6 to force Penner out (figured you/Tammy's challenge ability plus Tammy's F6 built-in immunity would help give us good odds to send him TF home since I viewed him as an ultimate threat), but I knew Penner would have the inside track on that move if he wanted to cut me instead. I was hoping he would be willing to keep me over you and Tammy assuming I'd get bumped at 4 by P/S/H, and therefore leave you and Tammy with no choice at the last minute BUT to work with me for at least the one round, even though I really didn't want to sit next to you at the end. icon_laughing

I figured if it all swung right, that could shape out as a nice mini-"big move", but it also could've backfired if Sugar and Hayden hated me for it or if you went back to Penner with it.

I'd bet if this all happened and F5 is Sierra-Ozzy-Tammy-Hayden-Sugar, that T/H/S fuck both of us over and that's the final three. Threat status = way too high bud. Although Sugar might have helped us out?? Hayden and Tammy would've boned me for sure.

#6671 I'd be curious to know too, because my gut told me Hayden would screw me over but Sugar wouldn't want to, but I could be totally wrong on that! icon_laughing

I figured I'd at least make F4 with that setup and have a shot at a tie in the worst case. But one thing I completely whiffed on was how low the respect level was for Tammy both in the game and on the jury... after you mentioned that she was one player you didn't want to see make F3, I started to see that it would be near-impossible to paint her as a jury threat, which based on my good relationship with her was VERY surprising to learn... That would've been another roadblock for me getting to the end.
